Katie Torres
M.A., MFT-C

Hello! My name is Katie, and I look forward to getting to know and working with you. I believe noticing our patterns and wanting change is an important first step, but actually making those changes can feel really hard to do alone. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood and never judged. I use an integrative approach, drawing from family systems, solution-focused, CBT, and emotion-focused therapy, always through a trauma-informed lens. I have experience supporting individuals who struggle with self-harm as well as parents navigating the challenges of a child’s self-harming behaviors. Much of my work is with children, young families, and new or expecting parents, and I bring special attention to the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals and their families. Above all, I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and centered on what matters most to you.
